The MFT1845 incorporates the New Megger “TrueLoop” technology
The MFT1845 incorporates the New Megger “TrueLoop” technology with a display – an arc - that informs the user of the tests progress and diminishes in length as the instrument becomes more and more confident in the accuracy of the result. This can take as little as 8 seconds on circuits with little noise. It takes longer on noisy circuits – but it has the very important benefit of providing a right-first-time result.

Introducing Transformer Life Management Bulletins
Introducing Megger Transformer Life Management (TLM) Bulletins and how they can help you:
To aid in the building, growth, maintenance and organisation of a library (corporate or personal), Megger has developed a comprehensive series of Transformer Life Management (TLM) bulletins that broadly cover the fundamentals of managing the life of a transformer. The bulletins span topics from moisture in transformers to each of the many electrical tests available to assess the condition of a transformer or instrument transformer. Moisture in transformers, for example, is a huge subject so there is value in overview summary publications that introduce the topic. If you collect all publications you can find on a topic, Megger TLM bulletins would be suitable to place at the front of each collection to introduce and frame that subject.
No more cable cutting errors - Westnetz Case Study
Positive cable identification with suitable devices prior to work on underground cables is a compulsory requirement at Westnetz in Bad Kreuznach, as stipulated by the standard DIN VDE 0105 part 1. However, sometimes problems can arise, as it may not be possible to conclusively identify cables despite the strict compliance with regulations. Traditional cable identifiers work by relying on system properties with many fringe conditions that cannot always be complied with in practice. The cable identifier CI/LCI from Megger is the first to offer a user-friendly and safe solution.
