Role description
The Head of Software Design provides overall guidance to the software team. They develop the software team and, with the team, the strategies to continuously improve the overall development process.
They will also work with other heads of department to provide an overall development strategy for product/program delivery and provide guidance to the engineers to deliver these.
The Head of Software Design will work with safety other disciplines to drive product integrity.
They will work to validate that the requirements, modelling verification, and design development quality is suitable to provide a 'right-first-time' approach.
