The resonating inductor is an accessory for use with the semi-automatic 12 kV extended-range capacitance and dissipation factor test set, or the automated insulation power factor test set (DELTA series).

Augmenting Megger’s Ducter™ range of 10 A micro-ohmmeters, the DLRO10HDX combines ultimate simplicity of operation with a rugged IP65 case designed for stable ground and bench operation and provides memory storage.
These units are powered from either rechargeable battery or mains power making it suitable for continuous testing in production line/repetitive use environments.
Rotary switch controls are simple and easy to operate in all weather conditions and with gloved hands. A large, clear, backlit LCD display is easy to read from a distance. The DLRO10HDX provides significantly enhanced compliance and is capable of delivering 10 A into measurements up to 250 mΩ and 1 A into measurements up to 2.5 Ω. The duration of each test may be up to 60 seconds.

The Megger Ducter™ DLRO10X brings new standards to low resistance measurement. It is fully a automatic instrument, selecting the most suitable test current, up to 10 A dc to measure resistance from 0.1 µΩ to 2000 Ω on one of seven ranges. For users who desire more control over the measurement process, DLRO10X uses a menu system controlled by a two-axis paddle to allow manual selection of the test current. It also adds real-time download of results and on-board storage for later download to a PC.

The DLRO200-115 measures contact resistance in high voltage circuit breakers, disconnecting switches (isolators), busbar joints, or for any other low resistance measurement. This test set accurately measures resistances ranging from 0.1 µΩ to 1 Ω, at high currents. A versatile instrument, it can provide test currents from 10 A up to 200 A, subject to the load resistance and supply voltage.

The DET2/3 is a robust and compact automatic earth (ground) test instrument designed to measure earth electrode resistance and soil resistivity. For use on large or more complex earth systems, which include communications earth systems and difficult test environments, it can be used to test in accordance with BS 7430 (earthing / grounding), BS-EN-62305 (Lightning Protection), BS-EN-50122-1 (Railway Applications), and IEEE Standard 81.

The TORKEL 900 series is the fourth generation in the series of Megger’s trusted battery discharge test systems. Discharge testing is the only test method that provides a comprehensive insight into battery capacity, and is therefore an essential part of vigorous battery maintenance programs. Tests can be conducted at constant current, constant power, constant resistance or in accordance with a pre-selected load profile.

The TXL890 is designed for use together with TORKEL battery load units. Their purpose is to provide higher load currents for use in constant current or constant power tests. Together, TORKEL and the TXL extra loads form a system that can discharge batteries with currents of up to several kA. TXL extra loads are connected directly to the battery, and TORKEL measures the total current using a clamp-on ammeter.

The Battery Ground Fault Tracer (BGFT) is a dual range, economical, easy-to-use instrument that identifies, traces and locates ground faults in ungrounded DC systems. The BGFT’s dual range provides added safety in the low range, while the high range offers the ability to locate high impedance faults. It accelerates fault location by eliminating trial-and-error procedures and because faults can be located without going off-line. It is particularly useful in any industry where supply of power for operating measurement, communication and control equipment is critical.

The BITE2P Battery Impedance Test Equipment determine the condition of lead-acid and nickel-cadmium cells up to 7000 Ah. The Megger BITE3 Battery Impedance Test Equipment determines the health of lead-acid cells by taking measurements of the most important battery parameters. The BITE3 measures cell impedance, an internal ohmic test, cell voltage, intercell connection resistance and ripple current. And, for the first time in a battery instrument, the BITE3 measures float current and the harmonic content of the ripple current. There is even a built-in spectrum analyzer to show the harmonic content of the ripple current. It has firmware that can be upgraded through the Internet and supports multiple languages.

The Megger BVM is a battery voltage measurement device that is used for the capacity testing of large, industrial battery banks commonly found in electrical power sub-stations, telecom facilities and computer data center UPS systems. When used in conjunction with a load device, such as the TORKEL unit, and test data management software, such as PowerDB and TORKEL Win, the BVM enables the user to perform a completely automated battery bank capacity test, according to IEC test method. The test also meets NERC/FERC requirements.
