Sophie Gilham – Continuous Improvement Trainee Manager

“My own future looks bright and happy here, and I can’t imagine being anywhere else”

I began working for Megger over 5 years ago. Straight away I felt like I had found somewhere I could remain for the rest of my working years; to this day that opinion hasn’t changed. I have already progressed so much within this time, not only in my career, but also in my skillset, knowledge, and experience. This has been fully supported by my line manager, my peers, and the company as a whole. Working for an organisation that actually cares about its staff in addition to its profit margins makes it easier to have a great work life balance, giving you the ability to maintain your physical and mental health around your work.

I won’t lie, there are days that can be hard work, stressful and not the happiest of times, but these are mostly few and far between. Having the support and care of everyone around you, makes those days easier to deal with. And before you know it, you can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

I have a great working relationship with my team, and our department just keeps growing and getting stronger by the day. My own future looks bright and happy here, and I can’t imagine being anywhere else.
